If Spanish is an important part of your studies and you need extra tutorial support to pass your exams I am here to help you as a qualified Spanish tutor (with 20 years experience of teaching students from England to South America).
I provide private lessons on a 1-2-1 basis for children and young adults who want to improve their skills for reading, writing and speaking Spanish. I offer KS1, GCSE level, A and AS level, University level and common entrance exam level tuition to students who are struggling with their studies, or who want to improve their grades.
My “tutees” range from complete beginners to advanced level. The pass rate amongst all my students is 100% to date and my students and their parents have rated me 5 out of 5 on the First Tutors United Kingdom website: https://www.firsttutors.com
I hold an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate (formerly known as a CRB certificate) so your parents are reassured about my credentials and background.
What you will study
I use the same books and study aids as your school, college or University, including:
- Edexcel GCSE (Foundation, Higher and A Level)
- AQA GCSE Spanish (Higher)
- CGP GCSE Spanish
- Las actividades ludicas en la clas de E/LE
- Actividades ludicas para la clase de espanol
- Expresate!
I supplement these with workbooks and past papers, CDs, DVDs and software (including PRACTIQUEMOS by Catalina Moreno E). I also use Plan curricular del Instituto Cervantes, which is a fantastic study aid and reference tool.
Making Spanish fun
I make my
courses and tutorials as enjoyable as possible, beginning with
communication and understanding Spanish to improve your abilities.
You can come to my office in the beautiful Surrey town of Farnham or online using Zoom, Skype or Facetime. Session times can be arranged to suit you across weekdays (and can include weekends when necessary, e.g. for exam preparation).
“Thank you for all your help with G’s Spanish. She really enjoys your company, enthusiasm and input. This gave her much needed confidence and ability for her oral AS Level exam. p.s. I am happy to recommend you if someone needs a reference” (Alistair A, parent of student)
